Having a baby doesn't change things!
I was recently told I can't feel upset because I have a one year old baby. That I couldn't understand what trying to conceive was really like. I'm sorry, but all the moms out there who are trying to conceive number two, or three, four, or whatever are definitely able to feel disappointment. I understand that so many women are here are struggling for number one, but please don't write off other women and their experiences. You don't know me or anyone else. You don't know that before I had my son I experienced miscarriage after miscarriage. That my mother tried for 8 years to have me and that my brother and I are 9 years apart. That she lost so many babies before having me and I'm scared to death to end up like her. That the reason I'm trying for number two so early is because my husband and I both want a large family but were concerned with how long it would take us to conceive. Which so far we've been right. When I get a bfn or af shows, I feel crushed. Yes, I have a child to focus on. But it doesn't mean I can't be upset or hurt. It doesn't mean I don't understand struggle. You're right, I don't understand YOUR struggle. And you don't understand mine. The point is we're all here trying to get pregnant regardless of our backgrounds. We should be trying to help each other, not tear each other down or try to tell people they're not allowed to feel upset if they already have kids. I could have rainbow baby #2 this year, or it could happen in 5! Regardless of how or when, I'd like to be able to use this app as support. During good times and bad. I genuinely hope every woman on here has a baby soon! Whether it's their first baby or their 6th!
