We announced at 7 weeks after our first ultrasound. We're really bad at keeping secrets! Thankfully nothing has happened and I'm now 25 weeks. But personally, I chose to announce early but I know the support would have been nice if something were to have happened.

I said no, your pregnancy your choice. Keep in mind 20-30% of pregnancies end in MC. People feel better annoucing come the end of the first trimester.

That's really a personal decision..I announced my first as soon as my Drs confirmed it. At my 10 week sono tho we discovered I'd had a missed miscarriage. So in my two following pregnancies we didn't say anything until they were born. Of course family and close friends knew but I didn't want to have to explain another miscarriage or hear all the"I'm sorry's" etc. Some people want everyone to know so they can have extra support during the time following a miscarriage but others want space and privacy. Hopefully you'll have a wonderful and uncomplicated pregnancy but unfortunately that's not always the case

I would wait at least until you start your second trimester. That way you know that the chance of a miscarriage is so small. It would be awkward if you had to announce a miscarriage.

I didn't announce with my first until 18 weeks even to family and with this pregnancy we are waiting at least that long we had fertility issues and MC so keeping it to ourselves and enjoying it for ourselves is most important! We plan to announce on Christmas I'll be 20 w 4 d

In my opinion yes but I also had two early mc. But a friend of mine she posts literally the second she pees on a stick and it's positive. I'm about 7 weeks with #2 right now and we haven't even told parents yet. But it's whatever works for you and how you feel about it. Everyone's different.
