I just had surgery and they said no more than 2400 mg per 24 hours or 12 of the over the counter 200 mg pills

Try to call or leave a message. I'd say take it when it starts to feel painful until your doctor/dentist/surgeon tells you how many and for how long.

I heard only Tylenol is safe to take during pregnancy. I would definitely check with your doctor.
