Could you marry someone who wanted to raise your kids a religion you didn't follow?

Question

So I'm Muslim and he's Catholic, neither of us are 100% religious but we do respect our religions enough to know we shouldn't cross that line, not because there's anything wrong with it but I can't marry someone who isn't Muslim, neither of us are willing to convert and he wants to raise the kids catholic and I want to raise them Muslim...
Despite that big deal breaker, were perfect for each other, we've know each other for years and he has always wanted to wife me but can't because of the above mentioned reason. 
What would you do?

Or you raise them as both religions and when they get older they choose which one they want to believe in and practice... Why do you get to pick their religion?

Well it doesn't sounds like you're perfect for each other because a major fundamental issue is a deal breaker :-/ it won't get any easier when family and kids get into the picture :-/

My sister was raised baptist, and her French husband was raised Jewish. Their boys have been raised with both religions and both religious traditions. They celebrate Hanukkah and Christmas. Also, since their dad had a Bah Mitzvah when he was 13, they both have attended Hebrew classes to learn Hebrew for their Bah Mitzvah. Every family is different, and I think it not only depends on what the religious differences are, but also how willing each parent is to allow their spouse to teach their child about the other religion. Honestly I think it's a good idea for both parents to educate their kids on their religions and allow the children to decide what they personally believe in, and which road they choose to go down.

I would introduce them to both religions and let the kids form their own beliefs. I don't want to raise my children with any religion because I don't want them to believe just because it's what they're used to and told was true. If my children will be religious, it's because they actually have faith and believe in that religion. Not that people who were raised with their religion aren't true believers, but I wonder if a lot of them would actually be a part of that religion if they were not raised to be.

Religion is a big deal when getting married and having children. In Islam you can't marry outside of the religion as you've stated... you've also said he isn't willing to convert which is fine. You shouldn't convert to a religion for a person. It should be a personal choice. So neither one of you are willing to leave your religion so idk how this is going to work. Personally I wouldn't/didn't marry outside of my faith. 
As for children i believe parents should expose their children to as much as they can. So even though my husband and I practice the same faith we will tell our children about other faiths

I think it's important to have both religions as a part of their lives. and for all you know, they could grow up to be atheist. I know very little about religion, was scared into it by my stepmom and my husband was raised very Catholic. our kids believe what they want. our middle son has even stated that he is atheist. That's his decision. not ours.

I would try to make a compromise. Really listen to eachother and break down the reasoning behind the root of the problem. If neither of you are willing to budge, I would part ways.
