I heard you're not supposed to eat cold deli meat, does that include pepperoni?

The problem is the chance in listeria.  As long as you aren't buying it from a sketchy place, it should be fine. Very, very, extremely small chance of listeria contamination!

If its teaming hot you should be okay, like the other posted theres the nitrates to think about, basically its ok in moderation

Not supposed to have pepperoni. I eat deli meat occasionally  but I don't eat pepperoni at all. I know there is no logic in that decision.
