What's the difference between a STI and a STD? If there the same and different wording sorryyyy I am just wondering😁

Sexually transmitted infection and Sexually transmitted disease. I've always thought infections were the easily cured ones and the diseases were the more permanent ones. I'm not entirely sure though.

u can rid of an infection not a disease -_- in other words. the infection (if treated properly) should clear up over time.
