pls help!!!

ok so my boyfriend and i both turn 17 within these next few months (me this month him in 2). we’ve been dating for 2 years, and both feel ready to have sex. i really want to, but i can’t get over how nervous i am. i want to wait until we’re both 17 (just for peace of mind) but even then i’m still very nervous of something happening and me getting pregnant. what are some things i can do to ease my mind or lessen the chance of accidental pregnancy? (i.e. birth control, wearing condoms AND pulling out to be extra safe, etc.)
