Baby wheezing ( is that normal)?

My 7 month old is wheezing a lot recently and at first it was whenever he was excited but now he does it nearly all the time and sometimes it sounds pretty bad
Is this normal for a 7month old? I'm a first time mum

I would take him to the doctor ! Better to be cautious !

If he's doing it on purpose it's just a phase. If he is having a hard time breathing properly talk to his doctor. If anyone is smoking in the home it could be from that.

My son went through a phase where he would cough on purpose, and he did the same with wheezing. Just a new sound he figured out he could make.

We have a daycare baby who used to scare the crap out of me. He likes the sound of the wheezing and does it on purpose. Sometimes when he's laughing 🤦🏽‍♀️ he'll be a year this month and has been doing it for the past 4-5 months ! You just have to really listen for the sound of it. If it sounds like it's coming from his chest or if he's just making the sound for fun!
