My son is two (turned two last month) he hasn't seen his Daddy in almost five months, and even when he did his Dad barely paid attention to him. Well my son has started randomly calling for his dadda and it actually started the night after he had his birthday party (his dad didn't show up) at first I thought it was a one time thing but one month later, he's doing it again. He ran up to our backdoor trying to open it, calling out for his dadda. I'm not sure what to do, I told his dad about him doing it at after his party and his dad didn't even care.
