Hey all! I'm 39 + 2 days pregnant and living in south Florida. Went to the doctor today! cervix still shut, doctor recommended going somewhere safe and comfortable and distracting and not going to hospital. She said it's small, smelly and significant others can't come. She said inducing me wouldn't benefit anyone because of how long it could take and how limited space is there due to the hurricane.

She said if I want to come back Saturday and check again I can if that will help me stay calm. FTM so wondering if my water breaks how quickly will I begin dilating, I know it's a loaded question because everyone is different- I guess I'm asking what would you do??
