Confused : Is sex SO important ?

I need some advice . I've been talking to this guy for a few months now . And we've only hanged out not gone out .

And tonight we kind of got into a fight .

He asked me to go over to his house, but I told him that I was doing homework because school comes first when you're paying for it out of pocket 🙃

Anyways he said he would help me with it considering some of it was confusing me, so I said okay .

Then he tells me to keep in mind that he's been drinking and he wanted to cuddle .

I said okay sure as long as I get half of my homework done then we could cuddle all he wants .

Then he tells me "okay I'll have condoms for us"

When did cuddle mean sex ?!

He told me that it's been a while since he has had sex

Like I get that he gets urges and all but I'm not ready to have sex .

I am 20 years old and I've never had sex and honestly I'm really scared too . I'm so insecure about myself and my body And I'm not comfortable with him or anyone for that matter seeing me undressed for that fact .

Keep in mind that it's not clear that we're in a relationship... at least not to me since he has never brought It up .

He also told me that he's been nothing but patient

Honestly I'm one for taking things slow and in order ... call me old fashion if you want

Unlike him who wants to speed up the process and rearrange the order

Honestly I don't know what to do because I really like him . But how he responded to that and how he got upset at the fact that I said no made me like him a little less

I really want to get a guy's point of view on this so I might ask some of my close friends

But I really need advice because I just don't know what to do
