Can you bruise your hymen?

Hi guys! So over the past day or so I've become aware of a dull ache in my vagina. It's more than a little uncomfortable to sit on and it lasts for a few days after my SO and I have sex. (We've been having sex for a few months and we're both of each other's firsts, not sure if that plays a part in what's happening). I suspect it might be a result of me bruising my hymen but I'm not sure it's actually possible to bruise the hymen? Does anyone know of another possible reason I might feel like this? And if so, is there anything I can do to fix it? Thanks everyone! x
