Is 18 and 16 to big of a gap?

He was born November 28th 97 and she was born july 29th 99. Is it to big of a gap? They've been together since he was 16 and she was 14. His parents constantly call him a pedophile and tell him he has to leave her by the time hes 18.

In illinois, if someone called the cops on this situation (and my bf went thru this with his ex. they would not get charged as a sex offender because 1) they started dating before it was illegal, and 2) they were not that far apart in age-18/16.

Um well if that's bad. Why didn't the law tell me anything. I got pregnant when I turned 18 and my husband was 16. Our daughter is now 4 years old. And it doesn't look too bad now. I'm 23 and he's turning 21 this year. He's mature, got his mind straight, loves and support this family and he's taller than me so that's a plus! Lol ❤️

In Michigan 16 is the age of consent to sex. I started dating my husband when I was 16 and he was 19. I don't see a problem.

Depends on the state, 16 is the age of consent in some states, so they are both "legal" depending on where they live. Not a big age gap and they have been together for about 2 years aready.
