Umbilical cord stump
Is it normal for the umbilical stump to stink while it's healing?? I clean it 3 times a day with peroxide instead of alcohol. Alcohol makes her stomach break out in red bumps and she gets irritable. I also take her out in the sun every so often without clothes on so the sun can dry it out too. The stump isn't leaking pus, there's no fever to it or redness. It just stinks
