HEELS in retail

Cake • It's called the American dream because you have to be asleep to believe it.

Got these super awesome shoes yesterday and I'd like to wear them to work! My job is retail, but I work in a department that requires a slightly more upper casual dress code (so a step above t-shirts and running shoes, but jeans are ok and I still have to wear an apron/vest (I work at lowes for anyone in the states)). I'm a kitchens consultant, so I help customers redesign their kitchens, bathrooms, or entire houses.

Do you guys think it'd be ok to wear these?? Or should I just stay away from heels all together. From what I recall there's nothing in the dress code that says heels aren't permitted. Just as long as it's a closed toed shoe.
