Pap Smear Test questions

So about 3 days ago I got my very first pap smear. I'm 22, never had kids, never had any problems down there, but since my exam my insides have hurt so much! I can't sit and I can't stand without discomfort.

I talked to my mom about the exam and apperently the Dr putting his fingers inside me and trying to check "where my womb is" isn't normal. Now I'm worried that my Dr really messed something up.
