Gift ideas for Christmas!

I need some gift ideas for my SO for Christmas this year. He moved about 2 hours north to go to university for his 3rd year, and has his own room. My first thought was a mini fridge! Then he can have some of his own stuff in his own fridge instead of with his roommate's stuff. Either that or I want to get him something else that would be useful. Any ideas what to get him? We've been together over a year now and are pretty serious at this point. I just need ideas! I'm looking to spend between $50-$150.
