Washing baby's clothes?

When is a good time to wash baby's clothes before they get here?

I think I started when I was around 32 weeks. I kept thinking if he came early I needed to be prepared. I also felt like I needed to buy enough groceries to last us 3 months.... nesting!

I've just done a load or two after each shower with all new clothes, bibs, blankets, bedding and swaddles we received at each, along with anything we've bought in the meantime. That way I have outfits ready if she comes early and I don't have tons to do at once, like I would if I wait until all my showers are over.

I washed all the ones we had around 18 weeks 😂 Yes it's early, but they're going straight in her dresser so they'll stay clean. When we get more we wash immediately and put away.

I'm super lazy. I just washed her 0-3 month clothes at 38 weeks, along with blankets, bibs and bedding.

I started washing two weeks ago one load a weekend, it's a lot more doable & im almost done. It can't hurt to be prepared. 
Currently 33+1.
I'll be packing my hospital bag and babies stuff in 3 weeks.
