My first time was 2 weeks before my 16th birthday. We were together almost a year total. And he completely shattered my heart. We broke up because of another girl. It completely changed me as a person when we ended. But at one point I believed we would be together forever and was completely committed to that. After we had sex for the first time, there was this feeling of complete emptiness inside of me. I cried and I really didn't know why. I was too young. I didn't think so then, but I know I was now; now that I'm 22 and have experience true love and a man who cares about me. Do I regret it? No. But, I would just say to you, make sure he's caring, gentle, and that you've been together for a good amount of time. Use your brain not your heart for this one ❤

Sec for the time is going to be weird. My first time wasn't horribly painful but it took some getting use to. Just make sure who ever you are with knows it's your first time. Be gentle and enjoy foreplay. Make sure you BOTH have had a recent STD-STI screening and use protection. I recommend both condemn and birth control. You can have and STD like HPV and be born with it and never know and pass it to someone else. Condoms are there to prevent both STD's-STI's and pregnancy and birth control can prevent pregnancy. Using both helps lessen the chances of an unwanted or unplanned pregnancy. And using a condom keeps you both safer from something transmittable. Have fun. And don't let anyone shame you. It's YOUR body. If you feel ready you need to be careful, and aware of the risks. Don't let someone push you into having sex if you aren't feeling ready. And don't let someone say "I don't like condoms". If the person respects you they will respect your choice to use them.
