Wedding catastrophes?!? 👰🏼 🎩

Everyone talks about the good parts but what about all the stuff that went wrong that day 😂 I know mine was rough

My mom was 30 minutes late and still had to do my wedding hair. Wedding started an hour late after my grandpa yelled at us. The bishop was mad because he was late to his other thing he had planned which pissed me off because he planned it right at the same time as my wedding. My friend decided to try doing his drag makeup for the first time in public and then threw a hissy fit when he thought people were staring at him, but it was because his makeup was awful! My dad wouldn't let me put a picture of my baby sister that died up on my family picture table. And then at the reception I had 250 people RSVP for it so I got 300 cupcakes.... 15 people showed up....

Not mine but my cousin. Her now hubby wasn't a drinker. Gave in to peer pressure. Fell asleep in the toilets at the church. Everyone thought he stood her up. Found him an hour after she arrived. It was a mess then, but hilarious later!!

Nothing too major for me the entire wedding party got drunk at my moms house the night before except me and flower girl so everyone was hungover my husband lost the marriage license which our county was kind enough to backdate for us a week later my husbands best man decided to bring a gun to the wedding and my husbands brother shaved my husbands hair all off right before the ceremony because why not he wore a hat so I wouldn't freak out 😂

Well, that morning my Husband woke up to his truck being broke in to and about 2,000 dollars worth of tools stolen. I started my period. My MIL showed up with our flower girls almost an hour late to the wedding. The wedding party got very intoxicated and I couldn't even tell you what set my husband off but he practically jumped out of our ride to the hotel. I ended up sleeping at my grandmothers and him in our honeymoon suite. It's was dandy, lol 👍🏽😂😑

My seamstress left the front hem a bit too long and at the start of the aisle, there was a tiny set of 3 steps going down. I tripped on my dress. 😳

I BARELY finished getting ready on time. One of my poor bridesmaids who did my makeup only had time to put on concealer since she spent so long on me lol. My train kept falling off the little hook that was supposed to keep it up during the reception. The bridal suite got broken into by homeless people trying to escape the cold (we don't think they took anything, though). My husband and I only got to dance 1 song. The cake was awful. We were rushed to leave so that they could take pictures of our exit before the photographer left and my MIL threw a fit and didn't go watch us leave. Oh, and she was mad at me the whole day before and day of the wedding because I forgot the tiny $2 money tree she had gotten the day before at my apartment. All the stress and hiccups aside, it was and still is the happiest day of my life!:)

my reception venue was booked Friday afternoon through Sunday at 1 PM. we got to the reception and were told we had to return the keys that night.  we paid a DJ until 2 AM  and ended up ending at 11 and my bridal party and husband tore down everything early.  it turned out ok in the end but that hour of tear down killed the party for my friends

Got an hour late because my bridesmaid glued my eye shut with eyelash glue...total panic for a hour and then we were running to make it to the reception. We ended up cutting the wedding short and no one knew why. Additionally we got a crappy photographer since it was included with the venue and we dont have a single good picture. My husband wants to retake them at our 5th anniversary

Let's see, I forgot to grab my bouquet when I walked down the aisle. When we got to the reception after pictures, everyone was already eating and there was only one meatball left 😭. Then the Dj played awful music. It was still the best day of my life and I laugh about it now, but that was rough. 😂

For mine, the flower girl was late so the ceremony didn't start right on time. Also at the reception, after the cake cutting, the slices of cake weren't passed out to our guests which I didn't find out until after everything was all over! I was like omg I feel so bad!
