Negative but pregnant ??

I want to know how often it happens... I tested 2 days before an expected period and it was negative but some people have said I could still be so wait a few more days and see if I miss my period. 
Has anyone else had this situation ??

I didn't test before my period, but I did test when I was a week late and it was the faintest line. I almost threw the test away. So I imagine if I had tester even a day earlier I would've assumed it was negative. My husband thought I was crazy for days until the line finally got dark enough for him to see it

It is usually very rare that you would get a positive test before your missed period. Your hcg levels are still too low to show anything. Should always wait for your first pregnancy symptom which is a missed period, then take one. But still your levels might be a little low which is why I would say take a test a few days after your missed period. get a pink dye test, test your first per of the day and it should give you an accurate result.
