Lactation Consultant
So, this may just be me, but I feel as though I do not want a lactation consultant to come into the room and squeeze my boobs and put my newborn on my breast and show me how or help me breastfeed for the first time. The thought of it does not make me comfortable and if I don't HAVE to allow this i wont. Am I alone on this? I just feel like I'd rather reach out for help only if I need it and I'd like to learn with my baby alone. Maybe I'm crazy.
