Crush problems

So I've had a crush on a guy that live in Ohio.. I live in Ontario. He hasn't texted me or called me for almost a week now, we used to talk almost everyday. He also made a promise to sing happy birthday to me on my bday, he hasn't done that yet. Then, he has homecoming soon and he is going to ask a girl to it, of course I tried to act happy and said "ask her already! Before it's too late!" But I don't know if he did or not, but he seems to like her.. and I can't do anything about it.

Should I find a new crush or stay with this one?
