When did your child stop having naps??

I think my 2 year old has outgrown nap time! All of a sudden she refuses to nap! I used to love her nap time 😩 bad timing aswell as I am due my second in a few weeks! I feel so worried now 😢 x

I think naps are necessary for this age.. I dont think they outgrow them until 4/5.. I'm not surprised a 2 year old refuses naps.. what 2 year old really wants one lol.. my friends 2 year old refuses them and she gets put down anyway for quiet time... She always falls asleep!

For my son that was a stage. I totally thought naps were needing to be phased out. He went back tho. He's 3.5 and now he naps if I make him or doesn't if it's not convenient. He still needs them but isn't an asshole if he skips it. I'd say try to stick it out. Most kids nap til 3-4.

My daughters only 3 months so we're not dealing with this yet lol but I worked in daycares for years and they always did nap time all the way up through 5 years old. I even remember taking naps in kindergarten too. So I fully plan to promote nap for a while lol

My daughter was a big napper until she went to kindergarten. She had no choice but to nap while in daycare which, was great because I used to keep her on the same schedule when she was home with me so I could get things done. Even now, at 7 years old, if I ask her to come lay on the couch with me, she'll usually fall asleep.

My son stopped taking naps at age two. He still needed them and would fall asleep if we were in the car in the late afternoon. That ended by the time he was 3.

My daughter was always good about naps! It stopped towards the end of her Kindergarten year. At first she would still fall asleep during the car ride home and then lie down at home and continue, then all of a sudden, no more.  naps!

I assume it's normal, my niece never had naps at 2 and In a matter of 2 months my 13mo has gone from having 3 2hour naps to having 1 1hour nap a day.

My daughter is 2 and she no longer takes naps regularly. She will nap on some days but most days she doesn't.
