Today my mom was telling me her cable would be shut off because she didn't pay it. I offered to pay it for her. She was grateful and thanked God multiple times. But she never thanked me. This kind of bothered me. I'm not religious but my mother obviously is. It's caused problems in the past because I just don't care to hear about God all the time and how I should pray and whatnot. So it got me thinking, how come when someone does something good, it's not really them. It's God. God made that happen. But say I was to not offer to pay my mother's cable. What if instead I tried to sue her for the $2,000 Ient to her a little while ago. That would be my free will. God would have no hand in that. Now I would never do that to my mother, but I was just thinking about why God is only given credit for the good in life.
