Metformin or Clomid?????

Hey ladies, I've been on metformin for a few years and now really charting to increase chances of conceiving, im hoping to switch to clomid to see if that will help in the aid. Have any of you tried both metformin and clomid? Do you feel one works better over the other? Have you gotten pregnant on a specific drug?  Scare with me.......Thanks:)

I was in metformin for many years, but needed clomid to conceive. It wasn't a one or the other thing for me. I stayed on metformin and would take clomid, estrogen, and progesterone at certain times based on the first day of my period. After 3 months, it worked :)

If you have been on Metformin you will stay on Metformin. Metformin can actually help you get and STAY pregnant. I am currently taking both Metformin and clomid. Only half way through month 2 and no BFP from the first round.
