Anatomy Scan
Looking for some piece of mind. We had our anatomy scan last week, and the sonography technician worried me even though my doctor assured me it was no big deal. The first issue was a bright spot on her heart, coupled with the fact that they couldnt get all the pictures of her heart they wanted because she was stubbornly positioned behind my belly button. The doctor assured me this was super common but the sonography technician said it was a soft marker. Our free-cell DNA came back low risk for everything (Panorama) and they said there was no other markers. But the sonography technician also could not get all of her face (half of it she kept covering with her hands). So I’m concerned about that. And then she also is measuring like a week smaller. I’m petite, so maybe that’s why? The doctor said it was fine but still wants me to go for a second scan to get what they missed. Has anyone had this happen?
