Comfortably Numb

I've always wanted a tattoo but the timings never been right. August 2016 my aunt passed away after battling breast and thyroid cancer, and open heart surgery. Since then I knew my first tatto would be for her. I don't know how you'd rate my pain level. (I've had streched ears up to 00, shots and blood withdraw doesnt bother too much) I'm really nervous it'll hurt like hell and I REALLY want this piece for her. Is there a safe numbing agent to use before you get your tattoo?
