46+ hour Labor.... All worth it!!

A perfect 7lb9oz, 20 1/2" baby boy! Its nice to have a birth plan, but be prepared to throw it out the window! 46+ hours of labor and baby boy would not drop down onto my cervix to trigger active labor, little did we know, it was because his umbilical cord was wrapped around his neck! I really really really DID NOT want an epidural. I was so adamant about that. But after 30 hours of working through those contractions only to be told i had only dilated to 3cm, I simply had no more energy to give. But it was so worth it! I hope you mommas-to-be have a safe and speedy delivery and enjoy every last minute of pregnancy while you can!
