how long did you wait to have sex?

My brain is so ready for sex. But not sure if my body is. how long did everyone wait? I still have one stitch and I gave birth almost a month ago. Should I wait till its gone? I'm afraid of doing damage while healing and it hurting. Advice?!

Usually if you have stitches your supposed to wait until your 6 week check up where dr will clear you for sex or not

I asked my midwife when I could do yoga again and she said not until after my 6 week appt. I had very minor lacerations and was told this.

I had 14 stitches. 2nd degree tare and waited 5 weeks
