Menstrual Cup???

I recently bought my DivaCup! It's supposed to arrive today although I've already started my period. I'm anxious and slightly scared to try it for the first time... Any tips for first time menstrual cup wearers??

Give yourself enough time to really get used to it. I've been using a diva cup since 2013 and I never want to go back! It's amazing

Love my Diva Cup! I find it easiest to use when I've come out of the shower or when the cup is slightly wet.

I love my Diva Cup!!!! I need to use a lubricant (I use coconut oil) and I usually put it in a me take it out I the shower while squatting. I also use the '7 fold'. Check out Precious Stars Pads on YouTube. Good luck! Don't get discouraged if you can't get it in at first, you'll get it!!!

Because there's no worry of TSS, enjoy the fact that you're a-okay to wear your Diva preemptively. As someone whose periods are irregular, it has been a really big plus to be able to put in my Diva when I've just started spotting or otherwise think my lady time might be coming.

I like it a lot way better than tampons but honestly I can't wear it my first day my cycle is too heavy which is the same thing with Tampons so I'm stuck   Trying to fix it every 3-4 hours the first day or a pad after the first day it's smooth sailing no discomfort or irritation.

I used the lunette for the first time last month. I put it in first few times using the tulip fold but was hard to get it to open. Started using the 7 fold (this is also my lucky number and I have it tattooed on my thumbs which it's kind of funny to me) and it worked perfect every time. Sleeping made me nervous cause I was scared seal would break and it would leak, but it's really great. Just have to learn to gauge how often to empty it on heavy days. I was checking it every few hours at home, and at work I checked it once. It's really neat though that I don't have to carry around a ton of tampons with me, and that I can sort of forget about it.
