When is normal to have your first doctor's appointment? I've never had a gyno so started calling a few in my medical group this morning after receiving a positive pregnancy test at home. The only one taking new patients said they don't schedule appointments until after 8 weeks -- is that typical? I was hoping to get a confirmation and medical guidance, and I can't imagine waiting a whole extra month!
