Best convertible car seat for SWEATY baby?

Looking to purchase a convertible car seat soon. Baby runs HOT in his chicco key fit infant seat so we want something he won't be so warm in. Any advice?

following! my son is the same way? he'll be 6 months next week. we have the UPPAbaby mess infant car seat and I feel he needs to be moved to a convertible car seat. he sweats so bad in there now! we have an 8 hour drive coming up in about 4 weeks I'm worried he won't last.

We bought the Extend 2 Fit in spire because I had concerns of the car seat getting too hot. It's a very light color. The seat itself has a very airy material or at least I think it does. Also, if you feel comfortable with it you could add a fan to the backseat of your car. I use one for our stroller.
