need help !

I've been with my boyfriend for a year and a half(unofficially 2 years). we talk about the future and moving together. also talked about our past which he has a rough past when it comes to relationships. I was drinking last weekend and told him I loved him well his response was that he has strong feelings for me but isn't sure if it's "love" yet. He does show me that he has strong feelings for me and appreciates me. Our sex life hasn't been to great from the start I think with that we need to communicate on that level more. but what should I do about the feelings? should I continue the relationship or end it since it's been a while and he still can't say I love u to me? **I do have a daughter she sees him as her dad and he does family things with us and went to the fathers day party***
