Blood after sex... is this normal?!

I am 6 weeks pregnant... hubby and I just had sex and when we turned the light on discovered pinkish blood. I am freaking out... Is this normal?!

While it may totally be fine, my doctor always says that no amount of blood is "normal". You probably just irritated your cervix or something, but I'd get it checked out.

Your cervix might be a little tender now :) a little pinkish blood is okay but more than that and you should tell your doctor!

my acupunturist says "no sex, exercise, drinking, lifting heavy for 3 months!" My hubby gets locked out!

Thanks everyone. The bleeding stopped shortly after sex, no blood over night or this morning. I called my doctor's office and they said it "may" be normal as long as it doesn't flow, but to discontinue sex 😕 Poor hubby.

It could be normal but I recommend you call your doctor and try to not have any more sex until further notice from doctor...if bleeding continues and is bright red could be miscarriage if it's light and brownish could be implantation bleeding definitely follow up with doctor regardless...good luck
