Are we weird?🤔

okay so im from Europe and it is totally normal here, but I've seen lots of posts about age differences in relationships. 
I've seen polls and normal posts about how wrong it is for a 18 year old to date a 24 year old for example. 
My best friend is 19 and his boyfriend just turned 26. they have an amazing happy relationship and no one has ever judged them. 
Im 20 and my boyfriend is also 26. I've never been happier in my entire life. Also, I'm 5"4 and he's 6"4. everyone thinks we're cute and we've never had arguments about anything. 
Are we weird or are just Americans raised differently? 🤔

I don't think that it's that weird. I guess my thing would be at 19 you're at a whole other level of your life then someone who is 26. You just graduated high school within a few years, at 26 you should have already graduated college and be working on getting married if not yet (if they so choose) But I think that 19 year old dating 30-45 year olds is just plain sick. Not weird at all. I've always dated older guys. The smallest age gap I've ever had was 2yrs. I once dated a guy who was 10 years older than me. I was 18, he was 28.  My So is 6 years older than I am.

In my state in Michigan at 16 you can date a 30 year old.. I'm 19 and I've dated a 33 year old and my moms only 36.. it's just variety of preferences and opinions.. my family dates older men..

No, it's not weird here. People are just too insecure in the decisions they make and need confirmation. My husband is 6 years older, I moved in with him at 18, married at 19. Literally no one has batted an eye or made any comment. 
I always say, if you aren't capable of making a simple decision on your own, then you aren't ready to be dating to begin with

I don't think it's weird! Age is nothing but a number! I think maturity is what counts! I dated a guy when I was 17. He was 23! Granted it's only a 6 year difference, but that was a big deal for me! My husband is younger than me! I see nothing wrong with wide age gaps!
