Canesten pessary

Does anyone know how long this takes to work? It was the one day pessary. I used it lastnight, my midwife and pharmacist said it should take a few days but I'm curious for anyone who had used this, how long did it take for you? I am going insane, fucking crazy, I'm so itchy omg and I never scratch so I'm just cranky from being itchy as all hell.
