Do hospitals give you the box to take home?

I heard New Jersey launched a baby box program about a year ago. I live in Pennsylvania now, I wanted to know if anyone was sent home with one of these boxes?

The only baby box I've heard of is one that has to be purchased from the baby box company. It comes with samples and stuff I think and then you use the box for "safe sleeping" arrangement. I think it's $50-$100 if I remember correctly.

Even if it's not a state thing your specific hospital might. In OR it's not common practice but with my second the hospital gave us a box.

No PA does not send baby boxes home with you. I live in PA and didn't get one. Nor do I know anyone who has. I have also head that NJ was going to supposedly start it soon though. But as of now PA does not that part in that.
