would this make me a bad mom?

Ok I'm 9 weeks preg. I always said I don't want to be that mom that has sports kids. I find it torture for me if I have to go to soccer,baseball,basketball,vollyball,football games and practice every week. I would however support ffa junior rodeo or 4 h ... does anyone else have these feelings.

Sports aren't for everyone. 4H is just as time consuming and fun. My oldest is in cheer/tumble but my toddler I could definitely see being into 4H. I do let them choose what they want to do, though.

Every child differs in what they like to do, and I felt it was important to let my kid choose and try different things. As a result I've helped coach flag football (knew nothing about it) and coached youth soccer.  He has now decided he doesn't want to play sports and wants to be in Scouts and I'm fine with that. All those things take time and travel.

I support whatever my son wants to do or this second one coming but because I don't want them to be overwhelmed with activities and school i would want them to have it broken up. 
Right now he's in soccer and that's a fall activity. 4-h which I was a part of and I know he will love it it's kind of a year round activity and meetings aren't too often and the animal part of it as far as fair is summer so it wouldn't affect school.

Sports are not for everyone, but your child will be their own person. If they choose travel soccer it's just part of the job to let them have that experience if it's within your means... 
BUT having said that, you can sometimes shape what they choose for a while.

I'd let my kids choose what they want to do.  I'd give them options of both sports like soccer, football, cheer, gymnastics and clubs like ffa, 4h, boy/girl scouts etc.  I think it's important to expose them to different types of activities so they can find something that they're passionate about.  For me personally, I wish my mom would've pushed me to participate in more team sports or clubs.  Once I got into high school I did cheer, french club, yearbook, and I had chickens I showed at fairs.  I wish I would've been exposed or given the opportunity to do those types of things at a younger age.  I'm 11 weeks with twins and I plan to let them choose what they'd like to participate in, whatever that may be.  I don't think I'd restrict them on participating in something just because I didn't like it.  I mean I don't really care for soccer, volleyball, tennis, etc but if they wanted to do it then, here goes nothing!  I'm more of an animal and arts kind of gal.  😊 Your parenting is completely up to you though that's the fun of it!
