Tell me how you dealt with family and friends after your baby's arival. In my family, it is common for EVERYONE to pile up in the waiting room during delivery (or hours before) then go into the room a few at the time and hold the newborn.

Did you accept visitors after your baby's delivery?

I know people mean well and I don't want to be "that" mom, but I don't feel like having visitors coming in and touching my child before I even get the chance to bond with it. I plan on breastfeeding. Isn't that a critical time to get your baby used to feeding? I'm also very private and don't really want people seeing me and my little family in such a sentimental and personal time. How did you handle the situation?
