Baby shower disaster 😢

I've helped plan my baby shower and have been SO excited for it. Most of my friends are out of state since I went to college out of state so I rented a huge 7 bedroom cabin with a commercial kitchen and all these amenities for them to stay in. We made the cutest favors and have a cake and everything is ready. But all but like 5-6 people have cancelled now and it's tomorrow. NONE of my college friends or sorority sisters are coming so the cabin will be completely wasted. I'm totally humiliated to have it with the few people that are coming since it's obvious so many more were expected - all that is coming are work friends, etc. which makes it worse. Even my own sister isn't coming because she has to work (although she calls out of work at least twice a week anyway). I'm planning on cancelling but my mother has helped plan it and cancelling will break her heart because she's out so much effort in.

I'm just so hurt and I don't know what to do.
