Washing babies clothes?

I might sound so stupid but I'm washing my babies clothes before she arrives and some of the clothing say to wash separately...does that actually mean to wash that one piece of clothing on it's own? 
I have my darks, lights and whites which are all sorted I just don't know what to do with the ones that say wash separately!? Help please 😩

Just separate them according to darks, colours and whites like you would your own clothes 😉

I washed all the baby clothes at the same time. Lower temp wash and dry low. Unless there was some dark item I washed those together but mostly everything at once.

I washed all the baby clothes too! But I couldn't be bothered to wash separately! I have a HUGE washing machine and it would be a gigantic waste of space, water, and soap lol. if you really want to wash separately maybe for something delicate, then you should wash it by hand in the sink with a bit of soap.

I wash all my baby clothes and I do separate them all to wash. If I'm unsure of something I send it off to my mums so she can do it for me 😂 but if you don't want to separate what about using those colour catcher sheets so that you don't ruin any of whites x
