Is it true? FRANK BREECH ANYONE?

Question

Ladies is it true frank breech is the worst breech position for a baby to be in? WHAT ARE THE CHANCES THE BABY FLIPS. I'm 34+4 weeks today. I've heard frank breech are also he worst c sections, is all this true? Can you share your experiences win either a baby turning at this stage or your c section with a frank breech baby.

My son was frank breech. Came out and his legs constantly wanted to be in the same position as when he was inside but it got better quickly and he was absolutely fine. One of my friends daughters was breech not frank but she ended up with a emergency section due to one leg coming out. So I wouldn't say one is worse than the other it all depends.

My daughter was frank breech 2 years ago. I hadn't heard anything about it being the worst. I did a few things I saw online, exercises and ice packs, to try to get her to move but she didn't.  I did not do the external turn b/c the doctor that likes to do them at my practice didn't think I was a good candidate. I didn't have any problems with the CS. The doctor commented that she was really stuck in my uterus. "Wow she's really wedged in there" is what I heard from over the curtain between the mountain bike and golf conversations. She was born without complications and I recovered fine. The only down side was she couldn't put her legs down for about 2 weeks, they stuck straight up. It was hard to swaddle her and put her to sleep on her back. She kept tipping over to her side.

This LO was frank breech at 33 weeks then was complete breech at 36 weeks until birth. The doc said frank breech is harder to flip than other breech positions except footling breech. I was 37 weeks before I tried going to the chiropractor but I would suggest that. If you can find one who does the Webster's technique, it has an 82% success rate, especially when you go early. I went at the beginning of my 37th week and went a total of 4 times.  Baby didn't flip it he made more room in my uterus and my hips and back felt amazing after the first visit. I tried the spinning babies techniques and felt her trying to move, but she never would flip. We ended with a c-section at 39 weeks. I would try everything possible to flip baby now since you still have time. I had 2 vaginal births before this and I really hate that my last had to be a c-section. But we're making it through. I hope baby flips for you!

my daughter was frank breech. we had an unsuccessful version. no c section complications...they did pull her legs out first but I don't know why based on her position. I was prepared for her legs to stick straight up but hers didnt. towards the end I was feeling her feet way over by my hip so I guess hers weren't straight up. she will have an ultrasound around 4-6 weeks to check for hip dysplasia.

My almost five year old was frank breech after being transverse for a while. They said I could try a version but because he was on the small side, the doctor was like 90% positive he would just flip back. I did feel a lot of pressure when they were getting him out and the doc said he was kinda stuck in there but as far as recovery goes, I did pretty well. Off all meds and driving a week pp and back to work after 4 weeks. I'll be having a repeat csection in a few months again as I am not a good candidate for a vbac and it looks like this boy is staying breech too.
