Hosted a super simple birthday party ...

And it was just as great as a blown out Pinterest inspired party!

For the last few months I stressed over planning this elaborate first birthday party with lots of decorations and games; straight off a Pinterest board inspiration. Time ended up getting away from me and I didn't have time to do or buy any of the fun (yet tedious) things I had planned out. I ended up running to the Dollar Tree, buying some tissue paper balls and balloons, and hung them randomly on our big outdoor tent.

It was perfect!

I felt so stressed trying to plan fancy decorations and games when all I really needed was my daughter, family, and friends to really make the day special for our little girl. ❤️
