late period

Baby is 2 mth old and I haven't started my period yet, I did BF him for a mth(aug) and then stopped because I wasn't producing enough milk ,and my appetite when out the window , I never got hungry ,I just started birth control (sep 10)just to see if I can start my period ,I was irregular before I got prego I would go for 3 mth without a period🤤😓 ,only taking bc makes me regular and I do want to ttc in a yr and a half from now ,I still need to lose weight and having no period makes me bloated and its super hard to lose pounds :'( does anyone have the same problem as me or am I the only one
