Is anyone else going for a VBAC?

I decided since the beginning of my pregnancy that I was going for a VBAC especially after my OB encouraged it. My first who is now 8 was born at 38 weeks by emergency c-section. Didn't even get the chance to push or go into labor. Just curious to know if anyone else is going for VBAC or experienced it and what has your journey been like.

I attended a VBAC birth (and another attempted that need a c section). Don't be any more nervous than a regular labor. 😀 VBACs will have best results depending on why you needed the first surgery. As long as a similar situation is unlikely to occur, you are all set.

I had an emergency c-section at 32 weeks a year ago, our baby passed away so we decided to try one more time. Im 38 weeks today and since day 1 i decided to do a VBAC which my dr supports, im praying that everything will go well. Just trust your body and your dr, the baby will show distress on the monitors as soon as that happens they'll do a c-section, so dont worry and just deal with it a bit at a time 😊

Hi yes With my 1st I went into labour lasting many hours didnt get past 5cm and baby was back to back even after drip etc nothing helped so had to get csection. After discussing this with consultant I am going ahead for VBAC and have to say i am terrified the same will happen but have been reassured that they wont leave me as long as last time if its not progressing then itll be csection. Torn between wanting to try and thinking whats the point may have the same outcome as last time.
