How late is too late for a Circumcism?

My baby is going on a month old and I still haven't got him circumcised. I have a doctors appt in a week which is when they will refer me to a specialist to have the circumcism done. My baby will be over a month old by the time he gets it done, is this okay?

I just have to be that guy who throws it out there: I hope you have considered skipping circumcising. Of course in America circumcising is social norm, but medically unnecessary. I assume you've researched it, but here I am on the off chance you haven't, lol. My husband is English and is not circumcised and he's never had any penis issues. Most European men aren't circumcised and are fine as far as cleanliness and health. It's not a viewpoint Americans are often offered, so I want to throw it out just in case you or someone following your post might benefit from it. 
I'm not an expert so if you have more questions on the pros and cons of either choice, there's a good episode of The Pregnancy Podcast that goes over both choices in a way that attempts to be very unbiased, and of course there's always your doctor. Definitely not trying to start any drama lol ain't none of us got time for that these days (at least I don't lol)

My doctor said he has to weigh less than 10 pounds.

My son was done at 3 weeks and there were other babies in the waiting room a week or 2 older than him getting it done. His insurance covers it until 3 months so I think it's safe till at least then. Just preferred when younger when they sleep most of the day and aren't as active.

When my oldest was born, the pediatrician at the hospital said there wasn't enough foreskin and what was there was a bit crooked.  So he suggested to let him grow and wait till he was a year old.  We were sent to a urologist at 18 months.  They did the procedure in the hospital as an outpatient surgery.  This was 7 years ago but I don't remember him being in an immense amount of pain or having any problems with it.

My son turned 4 weeks on Sunday and just got circumcised on Monday. If you're a first time mom and are worried about it, it will be okay. They will want you to hurry though, they like it done by 6 weeks, I believe.

Check with your pediatrician! 
My doctor said the latest she's done one is 4 months and she would never do it again because the pain was so bad for the baby and they couldn't give him anything for it. (This is different for newborns.)

yeah i think its still okay, some people say it hurts when theyre older, older as in like 10 years+  old lol
