How do you know your ready to start a family? Is there a definite feeling? Is it normal to know you want kids, but to be nervous about actually starting?

I had this app. Bought a house. Got married. And when you see that second line you're still going, "Oh shit." It's a blessing but even being ready, I don't know I felt ready!

Nerves are normal, but you'll know when is the right time- and of course you can plan it- anyone who voted that you can't is ridiculous. They aren't always planned, but can be. I've been with my spouse for nearly 8 years, we started feeling the want to have kids about 3 years ago. We had bought a house, but it needed repairs, so we waited, because we both grew up homeless at certain points (not everyone needs a house, this was just our reasoning for waiting). So we waited another 2 1/2 years for our house to get closer to finishing. We then purposefully ttc and got pregnant, as our house is being finished. So our family is %100 planned. Never had a scare, never went back on our plan, now everything is smooth. It can be done. (Of course there's fertility issues with some people, but not everyone has them, and you're still planning if you have the issues the plan just changes).

Dropping a truth bomb...I never had baby fever. I always knew I wanted to be a mom, but never got that consuming feeling. I graduated college, married, bought a house, worked, got my master's, then started trying because it just seemed like the right time. I was nervous as hell and still didn't have the fever. 8 weeks until my little one arrives and I'm finally starting to get really excited! Don't put too much pressure on yourself if you're not sure you're ready, it's different for everyone.

I think there is a right time but nerves are normal. Does everyone have their baby at an ideal time or right time? No. Do they figure it out? Yes. But if you are able to plan it I think you should.

I wasn't trying to get pregnant I'm 20 and this is my first pregnancy and I'm having twins!! I'm nowhere near ready! But this is truly a blessing for me.
