STOP BRINGING OTHER WOMEN DOWN (EDITED)

This post is to vent about something that just happened...

Im a high school senior (I should also specify we're both 18). I have a boyfriend and we have been together for 3 and a half years. We have had sex, but with protection of course. (Please no comments on how it is wrong, too young, etc because everyone has their own opinion)

Anyway, I have just found out that there are moms spreading rumors that me and my boyfriend have sex. I don't know who they are or if they even know or just made it up. I found out because word got to my friend's mom and she asked her about it. I just cant believe how there are grown women with children that have nothing better to do than gossip about their kid's classmates (it is not the first time that moms have spread nasty rumors). I find it disrespectful that they slut shame any girl who even dares to hold hands with a guy (even after being in a long, committed relationship) and call her names like "whore".

Please dont bring other women down and respect their decisions. No one deserves to be called a whore.

The reason Im pissed is not because they are saying we had sex, but because they are calling me a whore. I don't mind them knowing that we have sex, but I do care that they are calling me a whore. I know that many women who are moms are concerned for their daughter's peers and surroundings, but that's one thing and the other is plain name calling and shaming. As for my friends and people who I get along with, I have never pressured them to do the same, and they have respected my decision as well. In the end, everyone has their own opinions and, as a mom, if I had a problem with something someone near my daughter did I would address it with her only. I find it despicable how adult women are slut shaming someone much younger.

And yes, many of you will disagree but I kindly ask that you resist the urge of spreading hate on this app.
