Clomid/fsh/trigger options from RE

A little background - 35 yo, one pregnancy with missed miscarriage and one chemical pregnancy. Unexplained infertility, MTHFR homozygous, AMH is borderline low, everything else looks normal including DH sperm. TTC since April 2016 - took a break from 2/17-6/17 to de-stress.

After talking to my OB and my RE, I have the following options:

1. Clomid 25 mg - no follicular monitoring, progesterone test at day 20 - Cost ~ $90

2. Clomid 100 mg - follicular monitoring, blood tests - Cost ~ $800

3. Clomid 100 mg + FSH injections and trigger shot - follicular monitoring, blood tests - Cost ~ $1,750

We're not even considering IUI at this point. We only want one child, will be happy with twins if that is the case, but really just need one good pregnancy. I don't want to waste cycles but I also don't want to be throwing all our money at the doctor if we don't necessarily need to. What has been your experience with these options and what would you recommend. I'm on cycle day 2 today and go in tomorrow for my baseline sonogram. Insurance doesn't cover anything.

What kind of things do you need to do while taking these hormones? Should I be taking prenatals? Can I still drink (bday coming up)? What should I expect? Will I be super tired/moody? Thank you in advance for any information you can offer!
